PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING WHEN
CHARGING THE KNIFE WITH USB
POWER ADAPTOR
• Use only an electrical safety compliant, DC
5V 1A (or a minimum of 5W) or 9V 2A
(Fast Charging), USB power adaptor (not
included).
• It must only be supplied at safety extra low
voltage corresponding to the marking on
the appliance.
• Fully unwind the USB cord before
attaching to the knife for charging.
• Connect the knife only with the USB cord
provided.
• To protect against electric shock, do not
immerse the USB cord or knife in water
or any other liquid or allow moisture to
come in contact with the part, unless it is
recommended in the cleaning instructions.
• It is recommended to regularly inspect
the knife and USB cord. To avoid a hazard,
do not use the knife or USB cord if they
become damaged in any way. If the knife
is faulty, return the knife and the USB cord
provided to the nearest authorized Breville
service centre for examination and or
repair.
• During electrical storms, while charging,
the knife should be disconnected from the
power source at the wall socket to prevent
any electrical surges that may arise during
the storm and which may inadvertently
cause damage to the knife and its
electronic components.
