Installation
3.6 Installing the IFP-FFT
To install the IFP-FFT:
1.
Manually connect to any of the outputs that will power the IFP-FFT. (See Section 3.7). Refer to Table 1.2 for compatible powering
devices.
2.
Set the DIP switch ID for the IFP-FFT (See Section 3.8).
3.7 Operating Power
To install the appropriate DC power source:
1.
Connect the IFP-FFT to the appropriate DC power source. See Section 2.3.1 for power requirements. For additional information on the
compatible products, see Table 1.2 on page 6.
2.
Use the onboard DIP switch to assign the configuration setting to the IFP-FFT. (See Section 3.8).
3.8 DIP Switch Settings on the IFP-FFT
To configure the DIP switch setting on the IFP-FFT:
1.
Refer to Figure 3.7 to identify the location of the DIP switches located on the IFP-FFT board.
2.
To configure the IFP-FFT module, use the JumpStart program to add it to the system. See Section 6.3 for more information on
JumpStart. Table 3.1 lists the possible DIP switch configurations.
