Step 5: Connect the PDUs to the power sources

To connect the power cables for the S10 Node:
1. Connect one power cable to the one of the power and cooling modules in
the enclosure.
2. Connect the other end of that power cable to one of the PDUS. You can
use any socket in the PDU.
3. Connect the other power cable to the other power and cooling module in
the enclosure.
4. Connect the other end of that power cable to the other PDU. You can use
any socket in the PDU.
Step 5: Connect the PDUs to the power sources
The two PDUs for an S10 Node should be connected to two different power
sources.
To connect the PDUs to the power sources:
1. If the PDUs were returned in the rack and the PDU power inlet cables are
secured to the rack, use the wire cutter to cut the cable ties used to
secure the cables.
2. Connect the power inlet cable for one of the PDUs to one power source.
3. Connect the power inlet cable for the other PDU to the other power
source.

Step 6: Check for hardware issues

At this point, you need to check the S10 Node for hardware issues. If any
hardware issues exist, you need to resolve them before you wipe the drives.
To check for hardware issues:
1. Using the rocker switch on each power and cooling module, power both
power and cooling modules on.
2. Wait for the server modules to finish booting.
3. Check the LEDs on the front of the enclosure, on the power and cooling
modules in the enclosure, and on the server modules in the enclosure.
