If your Int ernet connect ion uses VDSL2 and your ISP does not supply or require a
Username and Password t o connect t o t he Int ernet , go t o sect ion

If your Int ernet connect ion uses ADSL or ADSL2+ and your ISP has supplied you
wit h a Username and Password t o connect t o t he Int ernet , go t o sect ion

Go t o [WAN] > [General Setup] and click on t he WAN1 link:

On t he set t ings page:
Set t he Enable opt ion t o Yes t o act ivat e t he WAN1 connect ion
Set t he Act ive Mode t o Always On
Enable t he Service – VLAN Tag insertion
Set t he Tag value set t ing t o 101
DSL mode can be set t o " VDSL2 only" but t his is not required
Note
The VLAN t ag value of 101 is required t o connect t o ISPs t hat
operat e on t he Openreach VDSL2 net work, if your ISP operat es
on a dif f erent VDSL2 net work, t his t ag val ue may dif f er.
