CONNECTING THE A-10/A-11 TO A DESKTOP COMPUTER

Use the following procedure to connect the A-10/A-11 to a desktop computer.
Requirements
Installation CD-ROM (supplied with A-10/A-11)
RS-232C cable (supplied with A-10/A-11)
Desktop computer (see page 6 for minimum requirements)
1. Open the RS-232C connector cover of the A-10/A-11.
Pull out the bottom of the cover and swing it up. Next slide the cover into the side of the A-10/A-11.
2. Use the RS-232C cable to connect the A-10/A-11 to your desktop computer.
The RS-232C cable has a 16-pin connector on one end for connection to the A-10/A-11, and a 9-pin
connector on the other end for connection to your desktop computer.

CONNECTING TO EXTERNAL EQUIPMENT

You can connect the A-10/A-11 to a digital camera or other external equipment and exchange data.
Requirements
Optional data communication cable (SB-62)
To connect to external equipment, complete the following steps.
1. Turn off the A-10/A-11 and the external equipment.
2. Connect the data communication cable to the A-10/A-11's data communication jack and the external
equipment.
