Prerequisites
1. Remove the
base
cover.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Remove the
wireless
card.
Procedure
1. Peel off the tape that secures the I/O-board cable to the I/O board.
2. Disconnect the I/O-board cable from the I/O board.
3. Peel off the tape that secures the power and volume-buttons board-cable to the palm-rest assembly.
4. Disconnect the power and volume-buttons board-cable from the I/O board.
5. Disconnect the coin-cell battery-cable from the I/O board.
6. Remove the two screws (M2x3.5) that secures the I/O board to the palm-rest assembly.
7. Lift the I/O board off the palm-rest assembly.
