How to Perform the Initial EMP Configuration

Pointing the EMP to the Controlling MCU

You can use the serial port to point the EMP to the IP address of the controlling MCU.
Procedure
Step 1
At the prompt, enter M to change the MCU IP address and press Enter.
The MCU IP address screen displays as follows:
Enter the IP address of the MCU and press any key to return to the EMP Main menu.

Changing Advanced Configuration Settings

You can use the serial port to change these advanced configuration settings:
Procedure
At the prompt, enter A to access the Advanced Configuration menu.
Step 1
The Advanced Configuration menu displays as follows:
At the prompt, enter 1 to configure the web server port.
Step 2
The current web port server setting displays.
Step 3
At the prompt, enter 2 to restore the factory configuration settings.
You are asked to confirm your choice as follows:
Enter y or n.
