Chapter 2 Preparations
Installing N8103-141 extra battery

This section describes the procedure of installing an extra battery for RAID Controller.
1.
Install the connection board supplied with the N8103-141 extra battery onto the RAID Controller.
2.
Refer to Chapter 2 (1.3 Overview of Installation and
Removal) for preparations.
3.
Remove the side cover while referring to Chapter 2
(1.4 Removing the Side Cover).
4.
Remove the battery fixing plate attached to the
bottom of the HDD cage.
5.
Attach the plate you removed in step 4 with the three screws supplied with the battery unit.
Tips
For the installation procedure, refer to the user's guide supplied with the extra
battery.
