• Make a knot "a" on the starter rope "2", and then untie
(0.59–0.79 in)
• Tie the knot as shown in the illustration.
• Push the knot on the starter rope into the starter handle,

Insert the projection "a" of fuel tank "2" into the groove "b"
at the rear of rear cover 2 "1", and install them.

Install:
• Engine switch
• Choke cable holder
Install:
• Recoil starter handle "1"
the knot "b" after assembling the recoil starter handle "1".
and install it inside of the starter handle.
Install:
• Rear cover 2 "1"
Install:
• Fuel tank cap
• Side cover right
• Side cover left
• Rear cover 1
Place the generator on a level surface.
Check the areas outside of the engine for oil leakage.
Oil leakage Replace the gasket, oil seal, or O-ring.
