Step 3. Connect front operator panel cables to connectors on the system board.
Note: Make sure the front I/O cables are correctly routed as illustrated.

After you install the front operator panel (2.5-inch HDD model) , complete the following steps:
1. Install the top cover onto the server (see "Install the top cover" on page 75).
2. Install the server into the rack if necessary.
3. Reconnect power cords and all external cables.

Install the VGA cable (2.5-inch HDD model)

Use this information to install the VGA cable for the 2.5-inch HDD model.
1. Read the following section(s) to ensure that you work safely.
• "Installation Guidelines" on page 48
2. Turn off the server. Disconnect the power cords and all external cables (see "Power off the server" on
page 80).
3. If server is installed in a rack, remove the server from the rack.
4. Remove the top cover (see "Remove the top cover" on page 52).
5. Remove the front I/O assembly (see "Remove the front operator panel (2.5-inch HDD model)" on page
54).
