Engine oil requirements

Recommended engine oil:
4-stroke motor oil with a combination
of the following SAE and API oil classi-
fications
Engine oil type SAE:
10W-30, 10W-40, 20W-40, 5W-30
Engine oil grade API:
SE, SF, SG, SH, SJ, SL
Engine oil quantity without replacement
of oil filter (Oil pan capacity):
7.8 L (8.24 US qt, 6.86 Imp.qt)
Engine oil quantity with replacement of
oil filter (Oil pan capacity):
8.0 L (8.46 US qt, 7.04 Imp.qt)
Amount of adding engine oil (at Periodic
maintenance) Excluding oil filter:
6.3 L (6.66 US qt, 5.54 Imp.qt)
Amount of adding engine oil (at Periodic
maintenance) Including oil filter:
6.5 L (6.87 US qt, 5.72 Imp.qt)
If the recommended engine oil grades are
not available, select an alternative from the
following chart according to the average
temperatures in your area.

F300A, FL300A
Use a good quality gasoline that meets the
minimum octane rating. If knocking or ping-
ing occurs, use a different brand of gasoline
or premium unleaded fuel.
Recommended gasoline:
Regular unleaded gasoline with a min-
imum octane rating of 91 (Research
Octane Number).
F350A, FL350A
Use a good quality gasoline that meets the
minimum octane rating.
Recommended gasoline:
Premium unleaded gasoline with a
minimum octane rating of 94 (Re-
search Octane Number).
