DEAR CUSTOMER Prior to using the appliance for the first time, be sure to read this manual completely and keep it available for use. GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS This vacuum cleaner is a double-insulated appliance. Two systems of insulation are provided instead of grounding. No means of grounding is provided on a double-insulated appliance, nor should a mean for grounding be added to the appliance. Servicing a double-insulated appliance requires extreme care and knowledge of the system, and should be done only be qualified service personnel. - Page 7 5. Remove any accessories that may have been packed inside the tank. Figure 2 6. The vacuum cleaner can work with or without a disposable bag. A normal plastic bag can be used. If using a disposal bag, insert the bag into the tank. See Figure 3. Push the bag over the disposal bag holders (B) to make holes in the bag.

VACUUMING DRY MATERIAL ! ATTENTION: A HEPA filter is highly recommended for vacuuming dry materials. 1. Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet. 2. Start vacuum by pushing the switch (2 on Figure 1). 3. This vacuum cleaner is equipped with a filter which can collect fine dust, including cold ashes from fireplaces. -

! WARNING: Wear protection mask when the tank needs to be emptied. FILTER CLEANING AND REPLACEMENT HEPA Filter 1. Filters need to be cleaned or replaced from time to time. Suction performance can be maintained with the Filter Cleaning System. (See Figure 5 and 6) Eventually filters will need to be washed or become worn and need to be replaced. -
