REMOVING THE SURFACE HEATING INDICATOR
1.
Unplug the range.
2.
Remove the rear panel from the range.
3.
Slide the indicator off the red lens and disconnect the indicator wires.
TESTING THE INDICATOR
1.
Set the ohmmeter to the R x 10K scale.
2.
If not already done, disconnect the indicator light.
3.
Touch the meter leads to the wire connectors of the indicator. The meter should indicate
24 kΩ (24,000 Ω) ±5%.
