8-16-2. Level Depandent Adjustment
Preparation
. On the setting menu, set as follows.
PAGE : FUNCTION 1/2
: DETAIL → ON
ITEM
: TEST OUT → ENC
ITEM
. OUTPUT/DCC switch (inside panel) → CAM/ON
. Shoot a gray-scale chart in the full underscan's picture
frame.
Setting point : 1 Lens IRIS
: A = 100 ± 2 IRE (NTSC)
Spec.
A = 700 ±14 mV (PAL)
Adjustment procedure
Test point: TEST OUT connector
1. On the setting menu, adjust as follows.
PAGE : LEVEL 1
ITEM : LEVEL DEPEND
Spec. : Eliminate the detail signal from portion
B.
Note
. After this adjustment, be sure to perform 8-16-4. H/V
Ratio Adjustment, and 8-16-5. Detail Level Adjustment,
in that order.

. Perform this adjustment, if necessary, to suit the custom-
er's preferences.

in that order.
