Add another person to a call
1.
From a connected call that is not on
hold, press Conference
2.
Enter a new number to make a call.
Press Conference again.

Make a call with a headset
1.
Plug in a headset or connect a
Bluetooth headset (Cisco IP Phone
8851 only).
2.
Enter a phone number on the
keypad.
Press Headset

speakerphone
1.
Enter a phone number on the
keypad.
2.
Press Speakerphone
Mute your audio
1.
Press Mute
.
Press Mute again to turn mute off.

Listen to voice messages
Press Messages
and follow the
voice prompts. To check messages for a
specific line, press the line button first.

Forward all calls
1.
Select a line and press Forward.

Enter the number that you want to
forward to, or press Voicemail.

To receive calls again, press Clr
Fwd.
Adjust the volume in a call
Press Volume
to adjust the handset, headset or
speakerphone volume when the phone
is in use.
Adjust the ringtone volume
Press Volume
to adjust the ringer volume when the
phone is not in use.
Change ringtone

Press Applications

preferences.

Select a line.

Scroll through the list of ringtones
and press Play to hear a sample.

Press Select and then Set to save a
selection.

Adjust the screen brightness
1.
Press Applications
Select User preferences > Display

Using the Navigation cluster, press
left to decrease the brightness.
Press right to increase it.
Press Save.

Put your mobile device in
discoverable mode.

On your Cisco IP Phone, press
Applications

Select Bluetooth and set to On (the

IP phone will reboot).

A new icon will be added next to one
of the line and feature buttons.
Select the new icon and press Scan.

Select your Bluetooth device from
the available devices list.

Verify the passkey on your mobile
device and your IP Phone.
8.
For a mobile device, you can
import your mobile contacts (up
to 300) on your IP Phone. Syncing
your contacts may take several
minutes.
