The following troubleshooting guide addresses the most common problems and is by no
means exhaustive. If problems persist, call customer service. A certified electrician or air
conditioning technician should complete any service work. Unplug and disconnect the
appliance from the power source before attempting to troubleshoot any of the following
problems.
Problem
The air conditioning
unit does not start
Runs a short while
only
Runs but no cooling
Will not run and
water full indicator
light is ON

Possible Cause
No electricity.
Batteries in the remote control are
dead.
The electrical cord is not properly
plugged in.
The safety device of the plug has
tripped.
The temperature is too close to
room temperature.
Air outlet is blocked by obstacle.
There are tight bends in the air
exhaust hose.
A door or window is open.
A heat generating appliance such as
a heater or high-powered lamp is on.
The air filter is dirty.
The exhaust hose is detached.
Temperature setting is too high.
Air outlet or intake is blocked.
The tank inside the appliance is full.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

Solution
Check for power.
• Change remote control batteries.
• Remove and reconnect the power
cord.
• Reset the safety device, if problem
persists contact our toll free
customer service.
Lower the set temperature.
Check that there are no obstacles
obstructing air discharge.
• Eliminate the tight bends.
• Clean or replace the filter.
• Connect the exhaust hose.
• Reduce temperature setting on
control panel.
• Check both inlet and outlet if there
is enough air going inside and
coming out.
• Drain the water through the drain
port.
