Note that when converting the server from a deskside to a rackmount, the bay orientation is
different. The following diagram shows an 5-bay cage as an example to show the bay # and
SCSI ID position before and after conversion.
Make sure to write down the bay # and SCSI ID for each hard disk so they can be properly
reoriented.

Remove the hard disk unit bay cover.
Unscrew the two screws on the top of the
cover and open it to the front.
Note: Slightly lift the cover while open-
ing.
