Creating Directories

Beginning in privileged EXEC mode, follow these steps to create a directory:

1. dir filesystem:
2. mkdir directory_name
3. dir filesystem:
System Management Configuration Guide, Cisco IOS XE Gibraltar 16.10.x (Catalyst 9200 Switches)
Purpose
Enables privileged EXEC mode. Enter your password if
prompted.
Displays the directories on the specified file system.
For filesystem:, use flash: for the system board flash device.
Navigates to the specified directory.
The command example shows how to navigate to the
directory named new_configs.
Displays the working directory.
Navigates to the default directory.
