    before using your appliance Ensure that the appliance is switched off and unplugged from the supply socket if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning. The blades and cutting accessories have very sharp edges. Take care when handling or cleaning them.

Squeeze and hold the two buttons on the side of the motor together. Line up the two cut outs (one on each side) of the blending shaft with the buttons.
