Here you can carry out various language settings.
OSD language: The language displayed on the screen.
Menu language: The language of the DVD menus.
Subtile language: The language of the subtitles to the fi lm.
Audio language: The language of the audio output.
NOTE:
The menu, subtitle and audio languages available depend on the
DVD.
NOTE:
The channel search is only possible in stop mould.
Default TV system
Adjust the output of the DVD player to the colour transmission system
of your playback device. The following options are available:
PAL BG: (A widely-used system in Europe.)
PAL DK
PAL I
SECAM L
SECAM B/G
SECAM D/K
Scan channels
The DVD recorder has its own TV receiver. If you would like to record
the television programme, it is fi rst necessary to connect an antenna
and then search for the television station. To do so, please proceed
as follows:
1. In stop mode, press the SETUP button (Fig. 3/13).
2. Use the Cursor buttons
"Scan channels" and then the submenu "scan".
3. Press the SELECT button (Fig. 3/11).
The channel search now starts automatically and may take several
minutes.
If you would like to cancel the procedure, press the STOP button
(Fig. 3/22).
Modify channel information
In this menu you can carry out various settings and entries yourself:
1. Use the Cursor buttons
"Modify channel information", "Edit".
2. Press the SELECT button (Fig. 3/11). Here you will fi nd the follo-
wing editing menu:
