1. ADC-46 Board
(1) Overview
The ADC-46 board functions as the converter witch
converts the analog signal at the input level of _66 dBu to
+10 dBu into the digital signal at OPINBUS0 to OPIN-
BUS3 (_20 dBFs reference).
(2) Functions of main parts
Each circuit (total: eight channels) has the same functions.
The followings are the descriptions for MIC IN1 and
OPINBUS0:
. CN101:
The microphone is connected with this connector.
. Q100, Q102:
Turns ON/OFF the +48 V microphone power. IC601
controls the ON/OFF.
. RY100:
Consists of the PAD of _30 dB. IC601 controls the ON/
OFF.
. IC100 (1/2), Q108, Q110, Q106, RY102:
Switches the gain (input level _44 dBu/_20 dBu) of the
first stage amplifier. IC601 switches the gains.
. IC107:
Performs the gain controls in 2 dBs, and covers the input
level of _66 to _20 dBu along with the first stage
amplifier. The data for gain setting is sent from IC601 by
the serial data.
. IC101 (1/2) (2/2):
Consists of input buffer amplifier at 0 dB gain and the
differential inverted output circuit.
. IC102:
Consists of the LPF and level shift as the front stage
amplifier for ADC.
. IC106:
Converts the differential analog input signal into the
digital signal, which is based on 24bit, ∆Σ modulation
format, 128 times over sampling, and 2ch ADC.
. IC500, Q500:
Generates the +48 V microphone power from the +5 V
power. The control clock is controlled by IC601.
. IC601, IC602:
Based on the data written from the unit, performs the
gain setting, PAD setting, and control of the +48 V
microphone power.
. IC702, IC703, IC704, IC705, IC706, IC707:
Bus buffer for address and data busses.

. IC700:
Clock buffer to supply the LRCK, SCLK and MCLK
signals to IC601 or each ADC.
. IC701, 708, 709:
Buffers to perform the PD control at the power-on,
switch of x1/x2FS, muting, and resetting.
