1-4-3. Removal of Fan
1. Removal of side fan
(1) Remove the case. Refer to the Section 1-3 step 2
"Removal of Case".
(2) Disconnect the fan harness from connector CN3017 on
the MB-983 board.
(3) Remove four screws, and remove the fan.

Attach the fan in the reverse order of steps (1) to (6).

2. Removal of rear fan
(1) Remove the IF-895 board.
Remove the IF-895 board with the socket connecting
plate, refer to the steps (1) to (4) of Section 1-4-2.
"Removal of IF-895 board".
(2) Remove the fan.
Disconnect the fan harness from connector CN6103 on
the IF-895 board, remove four screws on the finger
guard.

Attach the fan in the reverse order of steps (1) to (2).
