1-5-2. Testing the CPU-353 Board

The following test modes are available for CPU exchange.
Use them as required.
1. Reset the CPU to the factory setting.
This formats the memory contents of the CPU-353 board
to the factory-setting status.
Please note that this operation will format scene data in
Flash Memory and user status data in SRAM. The MAC
address and serial number will not be changed.
The following is performed only on the SIU-100/100T.
(1) Switch the SIU-100/100T power OFF.
(2) Switch the power ON while pressing the three buttons
ENTER, CANCEL and ↓. Keep pressing the buttons
until the following is displayed.

(3) To start formatting, press ENTER.
To cancel, switch the power OFF, or press CANCEL.

(4) When the formatting is completed, the SIU-100/100T
automatically restarts.

2. Start a factory-setting version
Even after upgrading the version of SIU-100/100T firm-
ware, the factory-setting firmware data remains in Flash
Memory on the CPU-353 board. When the following
operation is performed just after the power-on, The SIU-
100/100T can be started by this factory-setting version.
If an upgrade fails and the SIU-100/100T does not start
normally, start by the factory-setting version to upgrade
again.
(1) Switch the SIU-100/100T power OFF.
(2) Switch the power ON while pressing two buttons of
ENTER and CANCEL on front panel.
Keep the two buttons pressed until the normal display
appears.
