For the Internet Connection Type setting, select the connection type
you use: Automatic Configuration - DHCP, Static IP, PPPoE, PPTP,
Telstra, or L2TP. Then follow the instructions for your connection type.
(If you are not sure which connection type you use, contact your ISP.)
Automatic Configuration - DHCP
If you are connecting through DHCP
or a dynamic IP address from your
ISP, keep the default, Automatic
Configuration - DHCP.
Static IP
If your ISP assigns you a static IP
address, select Static IP.
Internet IP Address
Internet IP address specified by your
ISP.
Subnet Mask
Mask specified by your ISP.
Gateway Enter the Gateway IP
address specified by your ISP.
DNS Enter the DNS IP address(es)
specified by your ISP. At least one
DNS address is required.
PPPoE
If your ISP specifies PPPoE as your
connection type specified by your
ISP, then select PPPoE.
User Name
Enter the User Name of
your account.
Password
Enter the Password of
your account.
Keep Alive or Connect on
Demand Select Keep Alive if you
always want to be connected to your
ISP, or select Connect on Demand
if you are charged for the time that
