10.3.2 When the Handshake Function Is Set to "Yes"

Overview
If "Handshake" is set to "Yes" by selecting "Data Output Settings" from the ENVIRONMENT menu > "Parallel
Output", the data of the items that have been set to output are output in the following orders: Number of scans >
Judgment results > Numeric calculation data> Statistics data.
Timing Chart
T1 = Width of START signal (more than 1 ms)
T2 = Response time for START signal (within 1 ms)
T3 = Image capturing time (varies depending on the shutter speed of the connected camera.)
T4 = Period of time from result output to STROB signal ON (within 1 ms)
To = Time-out time (20 - 20000 ms, in ms units)
Td = Delay time (300 - 20000 μs including the time for checking the signal, in 100 μs units)
Set to Time-out and Delay times by selecting "Data Output Settings" from the ENVIRONMENT menu > "Parallel
Output".
1.
Make sure that READY signal is on and then input START signal for T1 (more than 1 ms).
In User-Defined mode, specify the block number using signals IN1 to IN 2. Input the signals IN 1 – IN 2 at 1
ms or more before the START signal is input.
2.
The READY signal is turned off within the time of T2 (1 ms) after the START signal input. Then,
image import starts.
3.
After the PV310 finished capturing the image, the REND signal is turned on.
4.
After the program execution starts, signals from D1 to D8 are output.
5.
After confirming the STROB signal is ON, turn ACK signal ON.
If ACK is not turned from OFF to ON after waiting for To (Time-out time), time out occurs and
communication is disconnected.
6.
Check the ARC signal ON, wait Td (delay time) and turn the STROB signal off.
7.
Check the STROB signal OFF using the external device and turn the ACK signal off.
8.
Check the ACK signal OFF and wait Td. The next output data (D1-D8) are output. Repeat the steps
from 4 to 8 for the preset time.
9.
After the data are output the specified time, check the ACK off and wait Td. Perform
post-processing of a created checker and turn the READY signal on. The REND time is turned off at
this time.
