tion(IEC/EN 60529)
(IEC/EN 60529)
Enclosure types (UL50)

Ambient conditions

Environmental limits for the drive are given below. The drive is to be used in a heated,
indoor, controlled environment.
Installation site altitude
Air temperature
For frames R6 to R9: 300 m (984 ft).
For frames R10 and R11: 500 m (1640 ft).
Note: For frames R6 to R9 with motor cables longer than 150 m (492 ft) and for
frames R10 and R11 with motor cables longer than 100 m (328 ft), the EMC Dir-
ective requirements may not be fulfilled.
Note: Longer cables cause a motor voltage decrease which limits the available
motor power. The decrease depends on the motor cable length and characteristics.
Contact ABB for more information. A sine filter (option +E206) at the drive output
also causes a voltage decrease.
