3-1. Description of On-Board Switch Settings and LEDs

D1 (C1)
: INT1 indicator (yellow)
Indicates the interrupt status of CPU-1 (A/V). Turns on
when interrupt operation is performed normally. When
this indicator is turned off, interrupt operation by the
field pulse signal from the signal generator block, etc.
might not take place.
D300 (L1)
: INT2 indicator (yellow)
Indicates the interrupt status of CPU-2 (FARAD). Turns
on when interrupt operation is performed normally.
When this indicator is turned off, interrupt operation
might not take place.
D35 (D1)
: +5 V indicator (yellow)
Indicates the +5 V B power supply status of the entire system.
Turns on when the +5 V B power is normally supplied.
Turns off when the +5 V B power is not supplied to the CPU-
253 board or the IC-link on the CPU-253 board is broken.
: +3 V indicator (yellow)
D36 (D1)
Indicates the +3 V power supply status of the entire system.
Turns on when the +3 V power is normally supplied.
Turns off when the +3 V power is not supplied to the CPU-
253 board or the IC-link on the CPU-253 board is broken.
D37 (D1)
: _5 V indicator (green)
Indicates the _5 V power supply status of the entire system.
Turns on when the _5 V power is normally supplied.
Turns off when the _5 V power is not supplied to the CPU-
253 board or the IC-link on the CPU-253 board is broken.
D3 to D8 (J1, K1)
: Communication status indicator
(green)
Indicates the communication status with the equipment
that is connected to the rear panel connector. Repeatedly
turns on and off when data or commands are input from
each data bus line.
The indicator LEDs correspond to the connectors on the
rear panel as follows.
Ref. No.

D10 to D13 (B1)
: STS1 to STS4 [Status indicator]
(green)
System monitoring (status indicator) of the CPU-1 (A/
V). Turns on when the pre-set operations are performed.
D301 to D304 (R1, S1)
: STS5 to STS8
[Status indicator] (green)
System monitoring (status indicator) of the CPU-2
(FARAD). Turns on when the pre-set operations are
performed.
D505 (R1)
: REF IN indicator (green)
Reference signal input display. Turns on when the
reference signal is input to the REF INPUT connector.
D507 (P1)
: 525/625 Line Mode indicator (yellow)
525/625 line mode setting display. Turns on when the
system is set to 625 line mode.
D508 (R1)
: REF ERR indicator (red)
Status of the reference signal which is input to the REF
INPUT connector, is displayed.
Turns on when the reference signal is not input, or when
the reference signal which does agree with the system
setting (525/625 line mode) is input.
Status of the reference input signal can be checked from
the combination of the REF ERR indicator (D508) and the
REF IN indicator (D505) as shown in the following table.

ND1/ND2 (E1, F1)
: segment LED-1
Indicates operating status of CPU-1 (A/V). The display
" " looks as if rotating when CPU-1 is operating.
The more the idle time is, the quicker the display rotates.
ND300/ND301 (L1, M1)
: segment LED-2
Indicates operating status of CPU-2 (FARAD). The
display " " looks as if rotating when CPU-2 is
operating.
The more the idle time is, the quicker the display rotates.
Does not turn on
Reference signal is
not input.
