: Each time recording stops, an EOD is written. When
recording is added, the previous EOD is overwritten and
deleted, and a new EOD is written at the location where
the latest recording ended. Reading cannot be performed
after the EOD, even if previously recorded data remains.
Note that when the tape reaches the EOD, the recorder is
automatically set to the STOP mode, "EOD" appears in
the LCD screen and at the same time the EOD LED lights.
The tape cannot be transported further in the forward
direction from this point.
: Last position where recording is physically possible.
: An ID number is attached to each recording. The ID
number 001 is automatically assigned as the first ID, and
the ID number increments each time the ID key is pressed
during recording. The ID number is also incremented
automatically each following recording starts (including
release of the REC-PAUSE mode), or manually each
pressing down of the ID keys while recording. The
maximum ID number is 999. The ID number can be used
for ID search.
: This indicates the point where recording starts. The start
ID is not actually written on the tape, but the position is
registered in the TOC. The start ID can be used for start
ID search.
