The System Numbering Plan

DS1000/2000 Correspondence Course
The system's Flexible Numbering Plan feature allows you to change the digits
users dial to reach the attendant, other co-worker's and trunks. The following
chart shows the digits used for features in a default system.
For this feature:
Attendant Position
Intercom
Direct Trunk Access
Central Office Calls,
Placing
The digits for these features can be changed within the system numbering plan,
but you should be careful that the change will not affect the operation of any other
feature.
System Programming
You can change the digits a
user dials to:
Reach the system operator(s)
Call a co-worker over the
Intercom
Directly access a trunk
Access a Trunk Group
