Arming
Auto Arming and
Locking (Passive)
• When th e main unit is set to "AUTO LOCK", The syslem arms an d locks " the
doors automatically 20 seconds afte r the lasl door or the tru nk (or hood) is closed.
• If a door or trunk (or hood) is opened during the 20 secon d exi l delay time the
timer resets and the 20 second exit delay time restarts after the last door or the
trunk (or hood) is closed.
• II the ignition key is inserted into the ignition switch during the exit delay time, the
system will be unset.
• Wh en the remote control transmitter is used to arm the system , in auto arming
mode, the 20 seco nd entry and exit delay time is ch anged to zero secon ds.
• The system will "beep" 3 limes and not arm f1 a door or the trun k or hood wi th
option al switch is not cl osed wh en the "LOCK" button is pressed.
• For the setti ng, con tact yo ur Honda dealer.
Set th e mode switc h to the 'AUTO LOCK"
position.
Tum the ignition
1 0
the "OFF" position.
Remove the key fro m the ignition.
Exit Ihe vehicle and close all the doors and
trunk (and hood).
