Fitting
Charging batteries
Remove batteries from the glue pen to charge them. To do
so, unscrew the battery compartment cover (7).
Insert the batteries into the charging station (10). When
doing so, ensure that the polarity is correct according to the
illustration on the inside of the charging station.
The charging station is supplied with energy via a suitable
USB connection.
Connect the micro USB connector (12) of the charging cable
(13) with the charging station (10) and connect the USB
charging connector (14) with the USB port of a PC, mobile
computer or power bank.
The LED (11) will flash during the charging process. When
the charging process is complete, the LED (11) will be per-
manently lit. Disconnect the charging station from the power
source and remove the batteries from the charging station.
Read and observe the operating instructions of the USB
power source regarding the charging station specifications
to prevent the power source from being damaged. If irregu-
larities appear on the tool when connected to the power
source, disconnect the charging station from the power
source.
Inserting batteries
It is recommended that you use NiMH batteries to operate
the glue pen.
Unscrew the battery compartment cover (7) and insert the
batteries. When doing so, ensure that the polarity is correct
according to the illustration on the inside of the battery com-
partment.
If the light-up ring (6) flashes quickly, the batteries are weak.
Charge the batteries.
Always replace all the batteries at the same time. Only use
batteries from the same manufacturer and which have the
same capacity.
Operation
Start-up
Switching on/off
To switch on the glue pen, press the on/off button (8) until
the light-up ring (6) begins to flash.
The light-up ring (6) will flash slowly during the heating pro-
cess. When it is continuously lit up, the glue pen is ready to
use.
To switch off the glue pen, press and hold the on/off button
(8) until the light-up ring goes out.

Do not use lithium-ion batteries. There is a risk of explo-
sion.
Take the batteries out of the glue pen when you are not
using it for a prolonged period of time. The batteries can
corrode and self-discharge during prolonged storage.
