Night Service permits incoming calls to ring differently to those during nor- mal day operation.

    A DCS-816 security feature allows the number of sequential incorrect passcode at- tempts to be counted, and if a certain number is reached, DISA will be disabled for a time and the system will alert designated stations.
  • Page 12: Authorisation Codes

    After going off-hook, you must dial ∗ followed by a four-digit authorisation code. If you en- ter a correct code, you will hear a confirmation tone and then receive DCS-816 dial tone and you can make an outside call in the usual manner. The station then follows the dial- ling class for that authorisation code.
