8 Static Eliminator Bias
■ Transfer Bias Control
To transfer toner on the Photosensitive Drum to paper, the transfer bias generated by the High-Voltage Power Supply PCB (HVT_
PCA) is applied to the Transfer Roller.
The bias value is determined by the environment, paper type and other factors.
Photosensitive Drum
■ Separation
On this machine, the paper is separated from the Photosensitive Drum by the elasticity of the paper and the curvature of the
drum.
Furthermore, the Static Eliminator reduces potential on the back side of paper for stability of paper feed and image quality.
