If you have not installed the ASDM Launcher software, see Installing the ASDM
Launcher, page 5-5. If you prefer to access ASDM directly with a web browser or
using Java, see Starting ASDM with a Web Browser, page 5-8.
To start ASDM, perform the following steps:
From your desktop, double-click the Cisco ASDM Launcher icon. The ASDM
Launcher dialog box appears.
Enter the IP address or the device name of the adaptive security appliance.
Leave the Username and Password fields blank.
