Power On/Off Button and LED Operation

Normal Operation
Action
Touch the button for at least ½ second.
If powering up after input power has been restored, the LED blinks blue while the unit is booting up and is
Power on
solid green when the unit is up and running.
If the system has been shut down, and input power not removed, the LED immediately turns solid green.
Touch the button briefly (between 100 ms and 4 seconds). LED remains green while the unit is shutting
Power off
down and turns white when the unit is powered off
The default BIOS settings when shipped from the factory are:
Sleep Mode
The default settings send RXi Display to sleep state S1.
Caution: Use this option only if the operating system is non-responsive.
Forced Shut down
Touch the button for at least 4 seconds.
The LED turns solid white when the unit is powered down.
The LED displays solid red to indicate a fault, including over-temperature condition.
