Problem
End the remote console or virtual media console, and
restart it.
Use Shift and CapsLock keys instead.
This occurs when a user other than built-in users tries
to use the remote console or FDDUMP. Perform it as a
built-in user.
For FDDUMP, click Start > Run as administrator to
avoid this problem.
"Safety Remove Hardware" operation may be failed
immediately after exiting the remote FD, remote CD/
DVD, and remote USB memory. Execute the operation
again a few minutes later.
USB CD/DVD drive:
Disconnect the USB CD/DVD drive from the system
console and reconnect it. Press the eject button again
to remove the media.
Internal CD/DVD drive:
Press eject button again to remove the media after
executing one of the following operations:
This message is displayed when other system console
is already connected. The IP address of the system
console already connected can be displayed by using
"show blade bmc session" command of the CLI of
management module. To forcibly disconnect the
session, use "disconnect blade bmc session" command.
Click USB Reset button on the virtual media console to
reset the virtual drive.
Click USB Reset button on the virtual media console to
reset.
Exit the virtual media console.
In the Java Control Panel, click [Security], and from
[Manage Certificates] or [Certificates], delete the
following certificates:
Issued to: IP-address-for-server-blade
Issued by: IP-address-for-server-blade
After deleting the certificates, restart the remote
console, and start the virtual media console.
Troubleshooting
Description
Disable the CD/DVD drive using the device
manager and then enable it again.
Reboot the system console.
