speed, since a forward speed that is too fast compared to the amount of grass being
cut will never mow the grass well.
Disengage the blades and put the cutting deck in the highest position whenever you
need to get past an obstacle.
5.4.6 E
MPTYING THE GRASS
Do not let the grass-catcher become too full as this may
block the collector channel. When the grass-catcher is
full there is an intermittent audible warning.
At this point:
– lower the engine speed;
– go into neutral (N) (
movement;
– engage the parking brake on slopes;
– disengage the blades (
will stop;
In manual tipping models
NOTE
only be done with the blades disengaged, otherwise
the engine stops.
– pull out the lever (1) (
catcher to empty it;
– close up the grass-catcher so that it hooks onto the
pawl stop (2) and put the lever (1) back into place.
In electrical tipping models
NOTE
only with the blades disengaged.
– with the operator seated, keep the button (3)

4.9.2) pressed until the grass-catcher is com-
pletely tipped over;
– once emptied, keep the button (4) (
until the grass-catcher has completely gone down
while checking that the pawl (2) stays hooked on.
NOTE
engaging the blade even when the grass-catcher has been emptied (5).This is due to
grass-cuttings left on the sensor of the micro-switch. To stop the signal, disengage
the blades and then immediately engage them again. If the warning sound continues,
stop the engine, take off the grass-catcher and remove any accumulated grass-cut-
tings from the sensor (5).
