In the first section, you will connect the Powerline Network Adapter (model number: PLTE200) to your router. In the next section, you will connect the Powerline 4-Port Network Adapter (model number: PLTS200) to your computers or other network devices.
- Page 3 Connect the power cord to the Power port of the Adapter. Connect Power Cord Plug the other end into an electrical outlet. Plug Power into Outlet NOTE: Because the Adapter sends data over the power lines of your home, Linksys recommends that you plug the Adapter directly into an electrical outlet.
- Page 4 Install the Second Adapter Connect one end of an Ethernet network cable to an Ethernet port on the Powerline 4-Port Network Adapter (model number: PLTS200). Connect Ethernet Network Cable Connect the other end of the cable to a computer. Connect Other End of Network Cable NOTE: You can connect additional computers or other network devices to the remaining Ethernet ports of the 4-Port Adapter.

Plug Power into Outlet NOTE: Because the 4-Port Adapter sends data over the power lines of your home, Linksys recommends that you plug it directly into an electrical outlet. The 4-Port Adapter has its own power filter to help protect against surges.
