Overview To create your powerline network, you must connect each network device to a Powerline Adapter. In the first section, you will connect the Powerline Network Adapter (model number: PLTE200) to your router. In the next section, you will connect the Powerline 4-Port Network Adapter (model number: PLTS200) to your computers or other network devices.

Connect the power cord to the Power port of the Adapter. Connect Power Cord Plug the other end into an electrical outlet. Plug Power into Outlet NOTE: Because the Adapter sends data over the power lines of your home, Linksys recommends that you plug the Adapter directly into an electrical outlet.

Install the Second Adapter Connect one end of an Ethernet network cable to an Ethernet port on the Powerline 4-Port Network Adapter (model number: PLTS200). Connect Ethernet Network Cable Connect the other end of the cable to a computer. Connect Other End of Network Cable NOTE: You can connect additional computers or other network devices to the remaining Ethernet ports of the 4-Port Adapter.
