MAINS CONNECTION

Check that the UPS nominal input voltage is compatible with the nominal
voltage that applies in your country. The output voltage preset by the factory
is 230 V AC. You can use the control panel to manually change this setting
to 220 V AC, 230 V AC (default), or 240 V AC at any time.
To ensure that the UPS functions correctly, you must ensure that the mains
cable has an appropriate pre-fuse. The Protect NAS is connected to an
standard shockproof socket via the mains connection cable supplied.
Before connecting the loads to the UPS, leave the UPS connected to the
mains without load for at least six hours. This allows the battery to charge
completely and ensures maximum efficiency.

LOAD CONNECTION

Before connecting the loads to the UPS, switch the UPS off and disconnect
it from the mains. Please check that the nominal rating specified on the
nameplate is greater or the same as the total of the load ratings. Connect
the intended loads to the outputs of your UPS. To do so, use the load
connection cable supplied. To begin with, leave your loads switched off.
Please contact your specialist dealer if you require any additional load
connection cables.
Avoid using multi-socket extension cables.
