Configuration
System boot: This option triggers the camera when the power to the camera is
disconnected.
Recording notify: This option allows the camera to trigger when the recording disk
is full or when recording starts to rewrite older data.
Camera tampering detection: This option allows the camera to trigger when the
camera detects that it is being tampered with. To enable this function, you need to
configure the Tamper detection option first. Please refer to Tamper detection for
detailed information.
Event Schedule
Specify the period for the event
1. Select the days of the week.
2. Select the recording schedule in 24-hr time format.
Action
Define the actions to be performed by the camera when a trigger is activated.
Trigger digital output for X seconds: Enter the number of seconds to trigger
digital output when an event happens.
To set an event with recorded video or snapshots, it is necessary to configure the
server and media setting so that the camera will know what action to take (i.e. the
server to send the media files to) when a trigger is activated.
• Add Server: same as Server Settings
• Add Media: same as Media Settings
• SD: Select the location for files to be sent to. Click SD Test to verify the SD card.
Click View to open the SD card for viewing files.
• Email: From the drop down menu, select the correct email to send notifications
to.
