Supervisor Functions

To go to the Supervisor Functions screen, press

The Supervisor Functions screen offers these options:
• Setup wizard. Enter or change the settings for the Digital Entertainer Express.
• Advanced settings. See
• Full scan for media files. Rebuild the media library. This replaces current media files and
adds newfound media files. A full scan takes significant time, depending on the number of
folders you have designated for sharing.
• Scan for USB attached media. Check for media stored on devices such as an iPod or MP3
player that are connected to the Digital Entertainer Express.
• Network test. Measure the data transfer rate between devices on your network and your
Digital Entertainer Express.
• Update. Check for firmware updates for the Digital Entertainer Express on the NETGEAR
website, or update the firmware from a file on a USB storage device. See
Firmware" on page 6-1
