Section 3 - Configuration
The DNS-313 can be used as a DHCP Server. As a DHCP server, it can be used to serve IP addresses to other
devices on your local network. However, this feature should not be enabled if you already have a DHCP server, such
as a router on your local network.
DHCP Server
Click the Enabled or Disabled radio button to
enable or disable the DNS-313 DHCP server.
Starting IP
Enter the starting IP address for the range of
Address
addresses assigned by the DHCP server.
Ending IP
Enter the ending IP address for the range of
Address
addresses assigned by the DHCP server.
Lease Time
Sets the duration of time that an IP address will
remain assigned to a device.
DHCP Client
Displays the Hostname, IP address, MAC address
List
and the time that the DHCP lease will expire for
the clients that have received a DHCP address
from the DNS-313.
Click on the Save Settings button to apply and save the new settings.
