    DFE-530TX 10/100Mbps Ethernet Adapter for PCI Bus Introduction Thank you for choosing the D-Link DFE-530TX - the value leader among Fast Ethernet adapters for the PCI-Bus. This introduction gives a general description of the newer networking technologies found on the DFE-530TX.

    (requiring a direct connection to a switch) and the switch’s data buffer is about to overflow, a Pause frame will be transmitted to the DFE-530TX. The ensuing idle time keeps the buffer from overflowing and prevents data from being lost. This enhancement can improve overall network throughput, prevents lost data and helps the network achieve optimal performance.

Unpack and Inspect CAUTION: Under ordinary circumstances, a DFE-530TX card will not be affected by static charge as may be received through your body during handling of the unit.

    DFE-530TX 10/100Mbps Ethernet Adapter for PCI Bus Troubleshooting If you experience any problems with the adapter, first verify that the appropriate driver is loaded, that the proper grade of cable is employed for the network connection, and that the supporting hub is functioning properly.
