• Ifyou connect the U SB cable to aUSB port on your PC and then turn on the
power, the c amera wilt automatically switch to "computer connection mode".
• In this mode, you can download stored images to your PC t hrough the U SB cable.
• The LCD monitor is always turned off in this mode.
• Connecting the c amera to a PC
1. I n any mode with the e xception of V oice
Recording mode, press the M enu button.
2. P ress the L EFT/RIGHT button and select the
[SETUP] menu tab.
3. S elect the [ USB] menu by pressing the U P/
DOWN button and press the R IGHT button.
4. U se the U P and DOWN buttons to select
[COMPUTER], and then press the O K b utton.
5. P ress the m enu button twice and the m enu wil_ disappear.
6. C onnect the P C t o the c amera with the U SB cabIe.
÷If y ou selected [PRINTER] in Step 4,
when you c onnect the c amera to
your printer, the [ CONNECTING
PRINTER] message wilt display and
the c onnection will not be
established. In this case, disconnect
the U SB cable, and then follow the
procedure from S tep 2and onward.
• Downloading stored images
You can download the s tilI images stored on the c amera to your PC's hard disk
and print them or u se aphoto editing so_,_ara to edit them.
1. C onnect the c amera to your PC w ith the U SB cable.
2. O n y our computer's desktap display, select
[My computer] and double click [Removable
Disk _ DCtM _ 100SSCAM].
The image files will then be displayed.
3. Select an image and press the right
mouse button.
4. A pop-up menu wilt open.
Click the [Cut] or [Copy] menu.
- [Cut] :cuts a selected file.
- [Copy[: copies files.
5. Click a folder where you want to paste the file.
