• When the menu is displayed on the LCD monitor, pressingthe Right button
makes the cursor shift to the righttab.
• When the menu is not displayed on the LCD monitor, the Rightbutton operates
as the Self-timer(_).
This function is used when the photographerwould also
like to be in the image.
• Selecting the self-timer
1. Select the MOVIE CLIP or STILL IMAGE mode
by pressingthe mode button.
2. Press the SELF-TIMER( _
) button until the
desired mode indicatordisplays on the LCD
monitor.
A 10 second 2 second or double self-timer icon
appears on the LCD monitor.
• 10SEC serf-timer ( _ ):
Pressingthe shutter button will allowan interval
of 10 seconds before the image is taken.
• 2SEC serf-timer ( @2s ) :
Pressingthe shtAer button will allowan interval
of 2 seconds beforethe image is taken.
• Double serf-timer ( _
) :
A picture will be taken after about 10 seconds
and 2 seconds later a second picture will be taken.
When using the flash, the 2-second serf-timer may be delayed for longer
than 2 seconds depending on the flash charge time.
3. When you press the SHU]q-ER button, the picture will betaken after the
specifiedtime has elapsed.
