7.11 installux.sh Utility for HDLM Common Installer
This utility determines what OS HDLM will be installed on, and installs the
corresponding version of HDLM from the DVD-ROM. This utility can also perform
unattended installations via a parameter specification.

7.11.1 Format

7.11.2 Parameters
-v
Displays the HDLM version to be installed.
-h
Displays the format of the
installation-information-settings-file
-f
Specify this parameter to perform an unattended installation for HDLM. Specify
an installation-information settings file for this parameter.

Installation-Information Settings File.
7.11.3 Log file
The
installux.sh
hdlm_installux_sh.log
exists, the utility appends execution information onto the end of the log file.
If the size of the log file is equal to or greater than 1 MB when the utility is executed,
the log file is renamed to
and named
hdlm_installux_sh.log
Note
The
hdlm_installux_sh.log
deleted when HDLM is uninstalled. Manually delete the log files, if they are no longer
required.
