Information Menu
The Information menu displays the model name, serial number, the horizontal and vertical
frequencies of the input signal and the cmnulated hours of usage of the lamp.

Signaltype
Model Name Displays the model name (VPL-AWI5 or VPL-AWI0) and the serial
number.
Serial No. Displays the serial number.
fH (horizontal frequency) Displays tile horizontal l?'equency of tile input signal.
IV (vertical frequency) Displays the vertical l?'equency of the input signal.
Memory No. Displays the preset memory number of the input signal.
Signal type Displays the type of the input signal.
Lamp Timer Indicates how long the lamp has been turned on (total usage).
• fH (horizontal
frequency) and fV(vertical frequeucy) may uot be displayed depeudiug
ou the input signal used on the projector.
• You caunot change auy items listed above.
This projector has 39 types of preset data for input signals (the preset memory). When the
preset signal is input, the projector automatically detects the signal type and recalls the
data for the signal from the preset memory to at!iust it to an optimum picture. The memory
number and signal type of that signal are displayed in the Information _ menu,
You can also adjust the preset data through the Screen _ menu,
This projector also contains 20 different user memories beside the preset memories used
for inputting computer signals. You can save input signals that have not been preset on
these user memories.
When an uupreset signal is input for the first time, a memory number is displayed as 0.
When you adjust the data of the signal in the Screen _ menu, it will be registered to the
projector. If more than 20 user memories are registered, the oldest memory is always
overwritten,
See the chart on page 61 to find if the signal is registered to the preset memory.
When theaspect ratio ol inputsignal does not matchthe screensize, a partof the screen is displayed inblack.
