5.4 MODE 3 - Manual Operation

In this mode, the user can move the mechanical elements of the unit.
The element moves only as long as the button is pressed. For
Example see Figure 5-10, In Mode 3, Move the Disc Transporter to
Disc Location 401. Select Mode 3, Submode 0 and press S1 until the
display indicates disc address 401.
The submode number indicates one of the mechanical elements with-
in the unit. Push SM+ or SM- to select one. When S1, S2, S3 or S4
button is pressed, the mechanical element is moved as indicated in
the chart below.
See Figure 5-11, Mode 3, Manual Operation Mode.
Example: The Mode 4 example on the next page can be executed
within Mode 3, but in Mode 3 the S1-S4 buttons must be held down
until a motion is completed. See Mode 4 example on next page. The
Test Mode Buttons, SM+, SM-, and S1 to S4, are pressed to execute
the example, as indicated.

Clamper movement is shown as rotation direction of cam from top.
CCW= Counter Clockwise; CW = Clockwise.
*As S1 and S2 change, the address changes. To find exact address of left side press S4, press S4 again,
to see address of right side.
**The slide arm can only be extended or retracted when the swing arm is in a left or right position.
NOTE: There are four states for the both the upper and lower clampers:
Both UP, Right Up-Left Down, Left Up-Right Down, Both down.
