7.3 Maintenance and repair work

Risk of explosion in hazardous areas as a result of hot components and/or charged capacitors
inside the device.
To open the device in a hazardous area:
1. Isolate the device from power.
2. Observe the wait time specified in Technical specifications (Page 77) or on the warning

Exception: Devices exclusively having Intrinsic safety (Ex i) may be opened in an energized
state in hazardous areas.
Improper connection after maintenance
