F. External/Luminance Key
This function is used to insert a picture into the key picture.

Setting up of the key camera.
Connect the camera to the EXT
CAMERA connector on the WJ-AVE7.
Refer to System Connection on page 9.
Shoot a black and white object with the
camera.
Reset the operation panel to initial mode.
i External Key
1 Slide the Mix/Wipe Control fully to the
B-bus position.
Press the WIPE/EDGE button.
Press the EXT/LUM button once.
The LED lights.
Adjust the KEY LEVEL control.
The B-bus picture is inserted into the bright part of the
external camera picture and the A-bus picture into the
dark part of the external camera picture.
Note: When you slide the Mix/Wipe Control to the A-
bus
position,
the External
Key picture
is dis-
solved.
